Monte R. Koch is a Montana native born and raised in Billings. Monte is currently Branch Manager / AG - Commercial Lender at Sky Federal Credit Union. He has 25 years of experience in commercial real estate finance with both private and public companies. Monte is a past president and former board member of the Sweet Grass County Chamber of Commerce. He has been involved in local economic development and marketing initiatives since 2014. Monte was an integral part of bringing the Montana Economic Developers Association's Resource Team to Big Timber in 2014. The report generated from that assessment identified the former structure located on the site of Sheepherder Square as Big Timber's number one issue/opportunity.
