Ann Tyler

Board

Ann Tyler moved to Big Timber in June, 1992 from Gunnison, Colorado with her family. While her children were in school, she worked as a teacher’s aide at the Big Timber Grade School. When her youngest graduated from high school, she moved to Bozeman to attend Montana State University where she received her BS in Secondary Education degree in 2008. After graduating, she moved back to Big Timber. She held a variety of teaching positions throughout the county before she decided to retire and have fun with her late husband, Kim Tyler. Ann loves to travel, visit her kids and grandkids, read, hike, and bike. She and Kim especially loved to spend time on Montana’s rivers and lakes. As well as being on the Sheepherder Square Foundation Board, she is President of the Sweet Grass Cancer Alliance, was on the library board for many years, and now is currently a Friend of the Library member.
